Eligible educational institutions, publishers, blogs and language learning providers may apply to participate in the Wasted Minutes™ affiliate program. Schools must be able to accept funds sent from a U.S. bank account via Stripe Payments.
Affiliate Link: Accepted organizations are provided with custom links and QR codes to the Wasted Minutes™ website. The organization earns a 15% commission on all paid subscriptions purchased within one year by accounts that sign up through the link.
Class Invitations: Schools that invite students to classes using the Wasted Minutes™ website earn a 15% commission on all paid subscriptions purchased by or for students active in the class. No class commission is earned if the student is also subject to an affiliate link commission.

Terms of Use: The Affiliate Program ("the Program") and these Rules are governed by the Wasted Minutes™ Terms of Use including the arbitration, jurisdiction and update provisions.
Limitations: The Program is open to organizations able to accept funds sent from a U.S. bank account via Stripe Payments.
Application: Participating organizations must be approved by Frontier Tech Team LLC at its sole discretion.
Organizations must successfully enter electronic payment instructions through our payments partner Stripe. No physical check payments are available.
Payments: Payments will be made through Stripe Connect. Frontier Tech Team LLC will rely on the payment information provided by the organization to Stripe and is not responsible for misdirected payments.
Organization may request payments up to their available commission balance but not less than US$25.00.
The available commission balance is the total commission balance less commissions for any transactions within the last seven calendar days.
Tax Compliance: Persons and organizations subject to 1099-MISC reporting requirements who request payments of US$600.00 or more annually must provide Stripe the additional information needed to prepare and file that form.
Charge-backs: Commissions will be reduced by purchases that are charged back or otherwise remain unpaid.
For organizations with a negative commission balance for more than 30 days, Frontier Tech Team LLC is authorized to initiate a reverse payment to settle the balance due.
Gift Certificates: Commissions are earned on gift certificate purchases by the organization that referred the purchaser. If no commission is earned for the purchase, a commission will be earned by the organization that referred the recipient.
Institutional Subscriptions: Bulk subscription purchases by institutions are not eligible for earning commissions.
Termination: This affiliate program may be terminated at any time for any reason with 30 days notice.
Individual organizations may be removed from the program at the sole discretion of Frontier Tech Team LLC and with immediate effect for conduct damaging to Frontier Tech Team LLC, to the Wasted Minutes™ language tool or to other language or cultural resources.
Links: Participating organization can obtain affiliate links and QR codes from the Wasted Minutes™ website.
These links and codes contain a reference back to the organization. They can be posted on other websites, sent out via email or included in printed materials.
Signup: Each user account that signs up through an affiliate link or code is flagged with the referring organization and the signup date.
Signup commissions rely on web browser cookies. The signup must occur on the same device and browser and within 45 days of clicking the affiliate link. Frontier Tech Team LLC is not responsible for commissions lost due to user activity such as clearing or blocking cookies.
Commissions: The organization will earn a 15% commission on all Wasted Minutes™ subscription purchases by users flagged with that organization made within one year of the signup date.
For parents purchasing subscriptions for children, the parent's affiliate link information will apply. If the parent wasn't referred through an affiliate link , the child's affiliate information will be used instead.
Eligible Classes: Schools may invite students to class lists through the Wasted Minutes™ website. The school must mark the class as "active" to be eligible to earn commissions. Classes are only eligible for the first six months after first being marked active.
Eligible Students: Students must accept the school's invitation to join the class. Students whose accounts are subject to an affiliate link commission are not eligible to generate a class invitation commission.
Eligible Parents: Parents whose accounts are not subject to an affiliate link commission and who are purchasing Wasted Minutes™ subscription on behalf of an eligible student.
Commission: The school will earn a 15% commission on all Wasted Minutes™ subscription purchases by each eligible student who is in an eligible class and by each eligible parent purchasing for an eligible student in an eligible class.
If a student is a member of classes at more than one participating school, the commission will be pro-rated among the schools.
These Program Rules are effective September 21, 2023.
